The French 9 final exam will take place on Thursday, June 15 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in room 5.
Students are expected to remain in the exam room for 90 minutes. Everyone should bring a book to read in case they are finished writing their exam early. There will be written and oral components of the exam. Attached is a study package which outlines the type of questions which will be found in the written section. Viens me voir si tu as les questions! The midterm for Français 9 takes place on TUESDAY, JANUARY 24, 9h00 to 10h30. All students will begin reviewing for this exam during the week of January 9 to 13. We will continue this week talking about real and imaginary trips and what we would pack on these trips. I will be use this page to keep you posted about activities in our french class. Most work will be done during class time. Homework is rarely given. Of course, speaking, listening to, reading and thinking in French at home is always encouraged!!

On Thursday and Monday, we do a review of what you should study for the final exam. If you have any questions at all, please come and see me in the Learning Commons. Qu'est - ce que tu vas mettre dans ta valise? Français 9 will write the midterm exam in class on Thursday, January 21 @ 1:00 - 2:00 during our regular class time.
The oral portion of the exam will take place on Wednesday, January 20 during class from 11:00 to 12:00 pm. We will begin our review on Thursday, January 14. Each student will receive a review booklet which covers all concepts on the exam. Please speak to Ms. Clarke immediately if you will be away on January 21 to that we can make alternative arrangements. I am available before school, during lunch and after school to answer any questions! All grade 8 and 9 french students will attend FRANCO-CONNEXTION at the Canada Games Centre on Monday, November 30 from 12:15 to 3:00 pm. The buses will pick us up shortly after the lunch bell rings so all students NEED TO BRING A BAG LUNCH ON MONDAY. The buses will drop us off before the final bell at the end of the day so students will be right on time to catch their school buses home. There are many excellent activities planned so it promises to be a wonderful afternoon!
